Breath Work
-
Find a comfortable and quiet place to sit or lie down.
-
Close your eyes and take a few deep, calming breaths to relax.
-
Begin by focusing on your breath. Inhale slowly through your nose, starting from the root chakra located at the base of your spine. Imagine pulling the breath upward through your body, along your spine, all the way to the top of your head or the crown chakra.
-
Hold the breath gently at the crown chakra for a count of 5.
-
Exhale slowly and steadily, releasing the breath from your crown chakra, imagining it flowing out and away from the top of your head.
-
Repeat this cycle a total of five times, each time inhaling from the root chakra to the crown chakra, holding for 5 counts, and then exhaling from the crown chakra for 5 counts.
-
As you practice, focus on the sensation of energy rising through your body with each inhale and the release of tension with each exhale. This exercise can help you feel more centered and relaxed.
